Honda and The Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society

Honda is one of Forest and Bird's major sponsors. We believe in preserving the environment as much as they do, and to ensure that they keep doing their magnificent work, we provide Forest and Bird with a fleet of eco cars.

The Forest and Bird team travel around the country working on a variety of conservation activities from re-forestation to lobbying, bird monitoring to weed busting. This photo shows one of the cars in the Mackenzie country.

On a large scale, Forest and Bird have established 38 reserves and sanctuaries to protect our native species, and have many other initiatives designed to preserve and educate.

The Forest and Bird website also features many projects that you can do at home. There are articles on building a worm farm, creating a wetland, and making a bird feeder for your garden.
