Honda New Zealand is pleased to announce that Honda Cars, Palmerston North, formerly a Honda-owned dealership in Palmerston North, is to be sold to an independent business, the Moir Motor Group.

"This is a positive change to our representation in Palmerston North," said Graeme Seymour, Managing Director of Honda New Zealand, "and it completes our goal to have local ownership in provincial areas, close to the local community."

Andy and Paula Moir, both individually with long serving Honda records, are currently the owners of Taranaki Honda, a successful Honda agency in New Plymouth. This husband and wife Honda team will retain their ownership in the Taranaki as well as take on the responsibility of building new and lasting relationships with Honda customers in the Manawatu.

Prior to purchasing the New Plymouth dealership, Andy gained extensive experience as a successful manager at several Honda Cars branches in both provincial and metropolitan cities. Paula gained her experience as a dealership accountant in various roles for Honda.
