Corporate Business Development Manager, Honda Financial Services - Newmarket

About the role:

  • Direct responsibility for the national corporate sales results
  • Be the key input in developing and implementing Honda’s Corporate sales strategy to ensure you meet and exceed sales expectations
  • Build relationships with dealership staff and enhance their understanding of the corporate sales strategy
  • Submit proposals for tenders and RFPs to secure business for Honda
  • Nurture the current base of corporate customers and assist them in optimizing their fleets
  • Be a source of information on competition offerings to keep Honda one step ahead
  • Innovate and continue to provide ideas and projects to enhance Honda’s offering in the marketplace
  • Reporting directly to the Manager of Honda Financial Services, you will work closely with the team to execute innovative ideas.

About you:

  • You are, an experienced sales professional with 5 years or more experience in Business Development within Automotive or a related industry
  • You have an fluent understanding of what corporate sales requires in the automotive sector
  • You are well connected within the New Zealand business to business sector and you are an expert at opening doors to win new clients
  • You already has industry contacts within large Corporate's and NZ SME businesses
  • You have outstanding business administration skills – you can compile and present professionally constructed spreadsheets, presentations
  • You build solid foundational relationships with your clients and can prove how effective these have been for you in the past
  • Have dealt with CEO, CFO, GM level discussions and negotiations previously and are in your element when dealing with these people
