At Honda we are very proud of our small cars, offering class leading space and technology, that sets us apart from the rest.

Both the Jazz and the HR-V offer the ingenious magic-seat system that increases cargo space and flexibility. This means you can still transport bigger items like bicycles, surfboards or large suitcases, often with more ease than in a much larger car.

Our range of small cars and small SUVs are perfect for the city and parking in tight spots, or for those looking for fuel efficiency without compromising on space, quality or features.

HR-V – perfectly formed

The HR-V our small SUV, also called compact or cross-over offers you all the things people love about an SUV without the bulk or the fuel bill. So let’s list them:

Visibility: You sit higher up.

Space: You and your passengers have more head room and the HR-V has magic seats, that clever Honda invention borrowed from the Jazz.

Comfort: Being slightly higher, it’s easier to get in and out of than a lower car, and being compact it’s a doddle to park in and around town.

The HR-V is sold out, explore the range of Honda Certified Used HR-Vs below.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Honda Magic Seats?

The Magic Seat system was initally developed for the Jazz, but is also offered in the HR-V which ensures that these models while small on the outside, have loads of space on the inside.

A testimony to the very best in ingenious design, once you have experienced Honda’s innovative rear seating, it is impossible to go back to seats that only fold one way. The rear seats don't merely fold down, they can flip up as well, resulting in 18 possible configurations for transporting almost anything from surfboards to small trees.

What is the fuel economy of the Jazz and the HR-V?

The Jazz Life and Crosstar have a 1.5L engine achieve a very enviable 5.8L/100kms whilst the Jazz e:HEV Luxe with its 1.5L electrified e:HEV powertrain achieves an incredible 2.8L/100kms. The entry level HR-V with its 1.8L engine manages 6.6L/100kms while the top specced HR-V Sport NT manages 6.9L/100kms and the HR-V AWD a very impressive 5.3L/100kms.

These impressive figures are made possible through the Jazz  and HR-V range being fitted with Honda’s unique EarthDreams and e:HEV Powertrain engines – an advancement in engine technology which provides improved performance as well as fuel economy.

Can you sleep in a Jazz or HR-V?

Short answer is yes. The magic seats fold down completely flat for you to be able to put a mattress down and sleep in the Jazz or HR-V.
