As Covid-19 alert levels adjust, we will keep this page updated on how Honda New Zealand is here for you.

As a quick guideline:

  • Stores and Service Centres in Level 3 regions are open for contactless sales, test drives, servicing, vehicle delivery and parts sales and delivery. Please make sure to book an appointment in advance so we know to expect you.
  • Stores and Service Centres in Level 2 regions are open. You can enter a Store or Service Centre without an appointment, however, we strongly recommend making one in advance. We will continue to offer contactless options for your peace of mind. 
  • Our HondaCare team is here to help 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday at hondacare@honda.co.nz or on 0800 246 632.

Honda Stores, Service Stores and Authorised Service Centres in Level 3 are open to support you safely.

Contactless options including pre-booked sales, test drives, servicing, vehicle delivery and parts sales and delivery services are available.

There will be reduced on-site staffing and careful procedures in place to ensure all staff and sites operate at the highest possible level of safety and hygiene standards.

Please make sure to book ahead of time, this helps us maintain social distancing and staffing levels. Just contact your nearest Store or Service Centre, or call HondaCare on 0800 246 632 to arrange an appointment or to book your vehicle in for servicing.

The availability of services may vary between locations, remote working hours and booking load.

Honda Stores, Service Stores and Authorised Service Centres in Level 2 regions are open.

Our doors are open, you can enter a Store or Service Centre without an appointment, however, we strongly recommend making one in advance.

New and Used car sales, test drives, servicing, vehicle delivery and parts sales and delivery services are all available. Contactless options will continue to be offered for your peace of mind.

We will continue to ensure all staff and sites maintain a high level safety and hygiene standards.

Vehicle servicing is available. Our team is here to help, and it is important to us that you and your vehicle remain cared for throughout this period.

Alert Level 3: Contactless servicing options are available. Please contact your Store or Service Centre to make a contactless appointment.

Alert Level 2: You can enter a Store or Service Centre without an appointment, however, we strongly recommend making one in advance. If you prefer, contactless servicing options are also available.

If you’re unable to visit our Stores or Service Centres, we’ll aim to provide pick-up and delivery of your vehicle.*

Alert Level 3: Our Sales and Finance teams are available for assistance remotely. Contactless Test Driving will be available onsite at your local Store by prior arrangement.

Alert Level 2: You are welcome to come in and see us to discuss your sales and finance needs, our team is available to assist in-store. Test Driving is also available with the same sanitation processes as under Level 3.

Vehicle Delivery: Delivery of vehicles will also continue with a fully contactless service including sanitization of all touchpoints before handover. As always, we strive to provide a fast and easy vehicle handover with each and every valued Honda customer.

Can I visit a Honda Store or Service Centre?

In Level 3 regions, we are open for pre-booked sales, servicing or parts appointments (this helps us manage social distancing and staffing levels). In Level 2 regions, our doors are open, however, we do recommend you book an appointment in advance.

MY VEHICLE WAS ALREADY BOOKED IN FOR A SERVICE PRIOR TO THE LOCKDOWN, WHAT NEXT?

WHAT SANITISATION STEPS DO YOU TAKE?

Any common areas in a vehicle that you would frequently touch will be sanitised. This includes your steering wheel, gear lever, parking brake, window and side mirror controls, rearview mirror, stereo and air conditioning controls and driver's door handle. Have peace of mind that the use of our disinfectant is completely safe and will ensure that bacteria on surfaces are eliminated.

WHAT DOES ‘CONTACTLESS’ MEAN?

Contactless means zero physical contact with our staff. When coming onsite, designated pick up and drop off areas will be highlighted with conveniently placed kiosks for car key drop off and retrieval. Our staff will be nearby (inside) to answer any questions via phone call. For any offsite services we will advise you of our procedure prior to your appointment and will seek your permission before we proceed.

WHAT IF I’M TEST DRIVING A DEMONSTRATOR OR USED VEHICLE? WILL THESE BE SANITISED?

Absolutely. All demonstrator and used vehicles will be sanitised prior to our reopening. Any demonstrator or used vehicle you are to test drive will be sanitised prior to your use and once it's returned. 

I'VE ALREADY ORDERED A CAR, WHEN CAN I RECEIVE IT? WILL THERE BE A DELAY?
