5 Year warranty with unlimited Kms

Honda’s engines are the most reliable in the world and we want to celebrate that.* That’s why all new Hondas come with a fully transferable 5 year warranty with unlimited kilometres and 24/7 national roadside assistance. The warranty is valid regardless of the number of kilometres you travel in this time period, and is fully transferable, so if you sell your car within 5 years, the balance of your warranty will be transferred to the new owner.

What’s the difference? Many other automotive warranties that offer 3 or 5 years, are not transferable and limit the kilometres ending the warranty period much earlier.

Warranty

The warranty is available to the first and subsequent owners of each vehicle during a period commencing on the date of vehicle delivery to the first purchaser, and terminating 60 calendar months after that date, at any authorised Honda Agent, provided the vehicle is maintained in the warranty period as per Honda's manufacturer schedule.

The new vehicle warranty is designed to protect customers from defective material or workmanship. Repair or replacement is at the discretion of Honda New Zealand. The defective material or workmanship shall be rectified free of charge, including parts and labour, but excluding normal service wear and tear items.

Any part of the vehicle repaired or replaced free of charge under the warranty will continue to have the benefit of such warranty during the balance of the warranty period. A second or subsequent purchaser of the vehicle will also be entitled to the warranty during the balance of such period.

Roadside Assistance

For complete motoring peace of mind, every new Honda sold is not only covered by the 5 Year Warranty, it also comes with 5 Year Roadside Assistance.

This is available nationwide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The assistance is not just confined to breakdowns, it also includes:

  • Flat battery and tyres
  • Emergency lockout and key assistance
  • Emergency petrol delivery (petrol at owner’s cost)
  • Tow to the nearest Honda approved service provider
  • Emergency windscreen assistance
