Honda Happy Families

Honda passionately believes in being a company society wants to exist. Our brand new Honda Happy Families - Parental Leave Policy is aimed at providing better support for our new parents. The policy offers;

  • 26 weeks of full pay for the primary carer (top-up of PPL);
  • Two weeks of paid leave for the secondary carer;
  • A phased return to work: return to work four days a week and be paid for five days for first 12 weeks (work 80% of contracted hours);
  • Match 2-for-1 superannuation contributions on return to work for a period equalling the duration of unpaid leave (up to 26 weeks);
  • Annual performance, salary reviews, bonus payments (pro-rata) and promotions while on parental leave;
  • Long Service Leave entitlements will accrue;
