Honda Sensing Technology

The CR-V AWD Sport Sensing employs some of the most advanced safety technologies available today. Introducing Honda Sensing, an interconnected suite of intelligent driver assist technologies designed to help improve your situational awareness, and, in some cases, intervene to help avoid a collision or lessen its severity

New to the CR-V's Sensing technology is Honda's High Beam Support System, which switches the lights automatically from high to low beam.

The Honda High Beam Support System automatically changes the headlights from low to high beam on a clear road, then back to low beam when following another car or an oncoming vehicle is detected. Combined with Active Cornering Lights, Auto On/Off Lights, Fog lights and LED High Visibility Lights, night driving has never been so easy.

Other Honda Sensing technologies include:

Lane Keep Assist
         Collision Mitigation Braking System

Honda’s Lane Keep Assist System reduces the strain of extended driving by helping you maintain your lane position. If the vehicle begins to leave the centre of a detected lane without signalling, the steering automatically adjusts to keep you centred.

The CR-V incorporates a millimetre wave radar sensor, that helps mitigate the severity of an unavoidable accident by automatically applying strong brake pressure when needed.

Lane Departure Warning         Forward Collision Warning

The windshield mounted camera identifies common safety markers, like lane dividers and catseye markers, and will issue an audio alert if you are about to leave your lane without signalling.

The Honda Forward Collision Warning System uses a small camera, mounted at the top of the windshield, to determine if you are at risk of a collision with another vehicle. The system issues audio and visual signals, and will automatically apply brake pressure should you fail to react.

Road Departure Mitigation

Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow

The Road Departure Mitigation system works in conjunction with the Lane Departure Warning sensors to gently correct your course, via steering and braking adjustments, in the event of the vehicle leaving a detected lane.

The CR-V’s onboard radar & camera sensors enable the Adaptive Cruise Control to maintain a set following interval by automatically adjusting your cruise control speed up or down when traffic is detected

Audio Technology

Adding to the CR-V’s features, the Advanced Display Audio System is compatible with the Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ platforms, giving customers seamless integration of key smartphone features and functions, as well as a built in Garmin Navigation App, with all the flexibility of an App without the need to connect a smartphone.
