Terms and conditions

Please note: Completing the referral form at your local Honda Store is deemed to be acceptances of these terms and conditions:

  1. Only customers purchasing with Honda New Zealand are eligible to participate in this Scheme (“Eligible Participants”). 
  2. Eligible Participants excludes permanent employees and contract or temporary workers currently engaged by or employed by Honda New Zealand Limited.
  3. This scheme commences from 01/04/2024 with new sale of a new car. 
  4. If you make a Valid Referral, you will be entitled to receive a VISA Prezzy Card to the total value of: $500 per Valid Referral resulting in a successful car purchase from Honda New Zealand (“Referral Gift”).
  5. The Referral Gift is a net payment. Honda New Zealand is responsible for any taxes, as required by law, arising from the provision of the Referral Gift.
  6. If Honda New Zealand is (for whatever reason) unable to procure the Referral Gift, you will receive a substitute gift of commensurate value subject to these same terms and conditions.
  7. You will not be eligible to receive the Referral Gift under this Scheme if the referred person was already a customer of Honda New Zealand as at the date of the referral.
  8. The referred person must have consented to having their personal information provided to Honda New Zealand for this Scheme prior to the date of the referral. You indemnify Honda New Zealand for any claim arising out of your failure to procure such consent. Honda New Zealand will comply with the Privacy Act 2020 in its handling and storage of such personal information.
  9. It is your responsibility to contact your designated Ambassador in Honda New Zealand in order to claim your Referral Gift.
  10. A customer can only be referred to Honda New Zealand once. In the event that a customer is referred to Honda New Zealand more than once, only the first person to refer that customer to Honda New Zeland (with the referred person's permission) will be eligible for a Referral Gift under this scheme.
  11. The Referral Gift is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  12. Honda New Zealand accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize for reasons beyond its control.
  13. Honda New Zealand makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the prize. To the extent permitted by law, Honda New Zealand is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to, direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with entry into the Scheme or acceptance of the Referral Gift.
  14. The VISA Prezzy Card is redeemable at all outlets that accept VISA Prezzy Card payments in New Zealand.
  15. Honda New Zealand reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
