Record breaking - On 3 April 2017, the all-new Honda Civic Type R set a new benchmark lap time for front-wheel drive cars at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. It lapped the world-famous circuit in 7 minutes 43.80 seconds, an improvement of nearly 7 seconds compared to the model’s predecessor.

The 5 door Hatch is the tenth generation of a much-loved namebadge and offers the choice of a new 1.5L VTEC turbo engine or the proven 1.8L i-VTEC engine.

The new 2019 Civic Hatch Sport Sensing model now adds Honda's Advanced Sensing Safety technology suite, helping with driver's situational awareness, and in some cases intervening to avoid a collision or lessen its severity.
